Introduction

You’ve read a lot of self-help books, tried all their frameworks and followed the steps that were supposed to fix everything. Maybe some of it even helped for a while, but nothing quite stuck.

If it’s happened to you, know that it’s not your fault because here’s what no one tells you: you can’t think clearly when you’re exhausted. You can’t find yourself while still performing for an audience that never applauds your efforts. And living in a space that treats you like a problem to be solved hinders your ability to accept what’s right for you.

Here’s the question that pops into your mind: so can I never get better? The answer is no. You can get better, but you need tools and frameworks that feel designed just for you. A place where you feel supported and loved. A place where you always feel welcome.

You might think: such a place doesn’t exist! You might be true. And that’s why I’m creating The Discernment District, a membership experience.

I call it discernment, not from a religious context, but as a skill you can learn. A skill that will help you in the long term. And my definition for it is the ability to know what’s right for you. Learn this and you will not need to fumble with decision paralysis or fear of making regrettable mistakes.

Think of the Discernment District as a place you step into from wherever you are. A place designed to slow your mind down and make you feel safe and supported throughout your journey of understanding yourself. Here you’ll receive a map when you arrive on your first day. You can step into the Library, find books that help you grow. Sit by the Fountain and let your buried questions rise to the surface to be released. Return to the Hearth, your “home” in the district, and track your growth.
